Maintaining notes with data records
The Notes tab
The Notes tab can be found on the bottom of an Entity List page. All entities can have the Notes Option. When you click on the Notes Tab, the Notes List shows up. The number in brackets next to Notes and the Notes List denotes the number of notes attached to the entity.
Relation of notes to records
To see notes of a particular record click the lens icon on that particular record in the List or top pane. Fields and labels can be customized according to User preference.
Viewing notes related to a record
Click the lens icon on the right to show all notes related to the selected record.
The notes popup
A pop up with all the notes related to the record shows up. With the scroll bar you can navigate to see all records.
Add a new note
To add a new note click the lens icon on the Add A note icon found on the right.
Entering a note
A popup appears with a MS WORD type of interface, where the user can type the note. Options of font type, font size and color are some of the many options available.
Saving a note
After typing the note click the Add button.
View result
The new note will now be added to the entity record and the new addition can be seen in the notes tab and list.

Sorting notes
The red arrow next to the fields allows the user to sort the column fields of the notes list by ascending or descending order.
